The University's Edgbaston campus houses its very own art gallery, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, which was declared 'Gallery of the Year' by the Good Britain Guide 2004. The gallery contains a fine selection of influential European art dating back as early as the 13th century. The collection compromises a variation of drawings, paintings, prints and scultptures. Some of the many artists represented include Boticelli, Degas, Magritte, Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Rembrandt and van Gough.
